LIABILITY:
Care will be taken to assure the safety of all works of art, however, neither the Darien Arts Center nor the committee will be responsible for any loss or damages.
SALES:
All entries that are not priced will be marked "NOT FOR SALE. Every effort will be made to sell works of art. All sales will be handled by the Darien Art Show Committee and a 25% commission will be taken on the sale of each piece to benefit the Darien Arts Center.
ELIGIBILITY:
All Adult and Student Artists residing or employed in Darien, donors, and students presently enrolled in Darien Arts Center Classes are eligible to enter work. All entries must be recent, original artwork not previously shown in Darien Arts Center shows. In the case of two adult entries, at least one must be for sale.
ENTRY FEE:
- Adults - $15.00 for per piece

MOUNTING:
All entries submitted must be framed with wire suitable for hanging.
Children’s entries MUST be framed or matted and affixed with hardware suitable for hanging.
Size limit: 40” x 40” including frame. Sculpture limit 50 lbs. and provide own pedestal.
RECEIVING:
The committee will receive artwork at Darien Arts Center’s Weatherstone Studio, behind Town Hall, 2 Renshaw. The Art Show Committee reserves the right to reject any entry not considered suitable. Receiving will take place on Sunday, May 24, 12:00 – 4:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 26, 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
PICK-UP:
Artist’s receipts must be presented when entry is removed. Entries MUST be claimed on Saturday, June 6, 3:00 – 5:00 PM or Sunday, June 7, 12:00– 4:00 PM. The Darien Arts Center will not be responsible for any items left after this time. Work may not be removed before 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 6. Please make arrangements if you are unable to pick up your own work. A $5.00 per piece per day fee will be charged for work not removed by June 7 at 4:00 PM.
