Music
The Darien Arts Center's Music Department is a music school open to children
and adults. Our students receive a foundation in classical or
jazz which can later be applied to any music of interest. All
of our instructors are professionals chosen both for their artistry
and teaching skills. We offer instruction in: guitar, beginner
violin, voice, piano, saxophone, and percussion at the Darien Arts Center.
Private Instruction at the Darien Arts Center
Registration is ongoing for Private Instruction.
FALL: August 27-December 21
Recital: December TBA
17 Weeks, one lesson per week
WINTER/SPRING: January 2 - June 7 (21 weeks)
Recital: June TBA
No Classes during the Darien school vacation weeks unless arrangements have been made with the instructor.
Summer Lessons are available on a pro-rated basis to accommodate vacation and camp schedules.
Private Instruction at the Darien Arts Center
Payment for the term of lessons is due on or before the first day of class and is payable to the Darien Arts Center.
Tuition is non-refundable. Late entries may be pro-rated.
All lessons are scheduled with the instructor.
It is advisable to register on the phone or in person with the Music Director or your teacher to accurately assess the number of private lesson you will be
taking in a term.
Private Lesson Tuition Fees:
30-minute lessons...$40 each
45-minute lessons...$60 each
One-Hour Lessons...$80 each
