Music has traditionally been relied upon as a means of cultivating the confidence and ability of its students, children and adults alike. The Darien Arts
Center Music Department provides quality one-on-one music instruction with some of the finest
classical and jazz teachers in the area. We offer instruction in classical and
contemporary guitar, piano, saxophone, flute, clarinet,
voice and theory. Group workshops are also offered based on ability.
All of our instructors are professionals chosen both for their artistry and teach- ing skills. Now in our 12th year we continue to expand our program under the leadership of Director Catherine Savoca. Our music committee is always looking for volunteers, so please call the Darien Arts Center office at 655-8683 if you are interested in contributing to the cultural life of the Darien community.
